The marching band practices begin happening in very short time!!! Hard to believe it’s that time again. Please pray for our new season and for all the rookies  =) I will keep you updated on our schedule if you want to make time to see us perform =)

• Bible

        2. Look for the KEY WORDS in the passage

• Commands/Warnings (do, go, be, don’t, you will, etc.)
• Contrasts (but, aren’t, however, etc.)
• Summery (therefore, so, etc.)
• Reasons (because, for, etc.)
• Key People (Jesus, God, sinners, believers, etc.)
• Key Truths (ressurection, grace, etc.)
• Processes (faith, salvation, etc.)

         3. Next, do your OBSERVATIONS, INSIGHTS, AND SUMMERY

• Look for words and look them up in your dictionary so you get a further meaning on the word
• Ask who, what, when, where, why
• SPECS (Sins Promise to Claim Example to Follow Command to Obey Stumbling Block to avoid)
• Summarize the chapter/verse(s)

        4. Write your application

At church… powersource, my youth group, has challenged us to read the entire book of Proverbs… 31 days in march… 31 chapters in Proverbs! Now you will have to catch up a bit but hey why not?

And in Bible class at school my teacher taught us a good way to really understand the chapter/verse(s) you are reading (I will make a new post for that)

So i challenge you to read through the book of Proverbs this March
